In many organizations people become members to receive benefits, but at Grace things are a little different. Of course, members do receive free use of the church for weddings and funerals, as well as the right to vote in church leadership, but the real reason we invite people to become members is to deepen a person’s faith.

Taking membership vows is a commitment to the people of the church that we will work together to strengthen one another spiritually. We are committing to worship together, study together and do good work in the community. As we go through new member classes we’ll talk about the things the church does and consider how we can support this work. We might even discover together some new directions in which the church can move! I want you to be a part of this and join the church in the discovery of who we are and what it is that God has called us to do and be in the world.

Classes meet for about an hour May 19th and May 26th after worship/coffee hour.
