What is Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry is any church group or event that ministers to children from 6th grade to 12th grade, but its also so much more than that. Youth ministry is all about the unique stage of life that happens to middle school and high school age students. The questions and needs of this group are just different from children or young adults, so we offer a unique kind of ministry in this unique stage. Youth ministry is filled with: gatherings for fun and Bible study, trips to the community and road trips to music festivals. There are confirmation classes for 7th and 8th graders to better understand their faith and missions trips to deepen our practice of faith. If you are a young person who wants to be a part of our group, let us know! We welcome everyone.

IGNITE Conference

IGNITE is more than a conference. It’s more than bands and speakers. It’s about a generation. A generation united for Jesus Christ. Hosted by the United Methodists of Greater New Jersey and welcoming to all.
Egg Hunt

Sure, youth are too old to look for candy in an egg hunt but what about hiding candy FROM children? Our youth volunteer by hiding the eggs and then have an egg hunt of their own for something far more fun than just candy!
Summer BBQ
